The Continuing Story of Zen Girl's Food Intolerance.... the iFood Edition

We are declaring that carrots are a success. We saw two pinprick-sized spots of blood in Zen Girl's diaper this week, but there was no corresponding change in behaviour and the blood was not persistent and did not worsen.

This means that it's time for a new food, and I wanted to be sure that we could give it to her for a few days before the holidays (when speaking to/seeing an actual staff physician is impossible).

So tomorrow moeining, applesauce.. here's hoping.

I've been reading your blog for a while now and have been meaning to comment because your daughter sounds a lot like my son. He has multiple protein intolerances, and I'm breastfeeding him on a diet free of dairy, soy, eggs, wheat, nuts, seafood, beef, chicken, and turkey.

We're on our second GI now, too, and are hoping to have better luck with him. The only thing we got from the first one was a lecture about Neocate.

Congrats on the carrot pass! We're having a tough time finding a solid food that Adam can tolerate. We're trying carrots now, too, and are hoping for the best.

Best of luck to you, your wife, and Zen Girl. Good luck with the applesauce.
