The squeaky wheel gets the grease. In the ER on Saturday, we were told that GI would not see us until we tried Alimentum for a week. Some tears, and a phone call to a dietitian we were seen yesterday at the GI clinic at the Children's hospital. We're taking Zen Girl for an endoscopy today. We will find one of four things: nothing, a fissure, nodular hyperplasia or signs of irritation/intolerance. A plan of action will follow when the biopsy results come back in a week or so.

Ran across your blog from an internet search on green poo ;)
I don't know if you will find this helpful or not, but my daughter had major issues and TONS of spitup and poo so mucousy it looked like silly string sprayed in her diaper. I cut tons of foods (dairy, soy, peanuts, etc. etc.). She never did have blood in her diaper, but otherwise sounds similar to your kiddo.
For what it is worth, i continued my restricted diet for a year. My daughter is now 2 1/2, and can eat every food just fine. It was a food intolerance and not an allergy, thank god. I guess it just took her gut a while to mature.
I'm not dealing with similar issues in my newborn son.
please let me know...how is your daughter doing?
